I passed my PhD viva with minor corrections!

Started as a Member of Technical Staff at Cohere.

I submitted my PhD thesis: Modelling Cross-lingual Transfer for Semantic Parsing! I will defend in my viva in May 2024.

Trust Region Aware Minimization is accepted to ICLR (Spotlight, Top 5%)! We propose a variant of SAM to improve zero-shot domain adaptation during fine-tuning. Code

Optimal Transport Posterior Alignment for Cross-lingual Semantic Parsing is now up on MIT Press! I will be in person at EMNLP 2023 presenting on Friday (poster session 3) and at the MRL 2023 poster session on Thursday.

New preprint out! In TRAM: Bridging Trust Regions and Sharpness Aware Minimization we propose a variant of sharpness-aware minimization for domain adaptation during fine-tuning.

Extrinsic Evaluation of Machine Translation Metrics is an Outstanding Paper at ACL 2023! I also received an Outstanding Reviewer award.

New preprint out! In Extrinsic Evaluation of Machine Translation Metrics we look at if MT evaluation can predict performance on cross-lingual NLU tasks. Joint work with Nikita Moghe, Lexi Birch and Mark Steedman.

I have been awarded the Cambridge Computer Lab Palantir Prize for Highly Commended MPhil Project for my dissertation from the ACS degree.

Started an internship as a Machine Learning Intern at Siri Cambridge.

Started the MPhil in Advanced Computer Science from the Computer Lab Cambridge and Corpus Christi College.

Graduated from the EEE department at UCL with an MEng in Electronic Engineering.
